he damn near did a piledriver on himself. A local fighter here in humboldt is permanently paralyzed from doing exactly the same thing. Not a good way to defend.

Yea, too bad we didn't get to see it play out, but it was good to see Saunders first instincts have switched over to RG. You could see it was fluid for him. Going to enjoy watching that play out for him in the future.

Riggs semed to be better very fast after the fight had been stopped. So his neck pain could've potentially been toughed out if not for Bens RG. I think Ben deserves a lot of credit for his squeeze.

Going off of what he said in the post fight, one of his arms went numb for a bit. I think he said the left one. Like he couldn't feel it at all. He said he tried to tough it out to see if the feeling would come back, but when it wasn't coming back so he tapped. Probably smart because it was his left arm trapped. No way to defend it if you can't move it. Sucks that it ended that way, but Saunders was taking home the W anyway so it's all good.
