Yes. I've seen it. You guys are probably like me and have a fb feed loaded with grappling. I love beautiful jj. It's what drew me to 10p. But a huge part of what looks beautiful in my eyes is effectiveness. High% techs that can be executed on a well trained, fully resisting opponent. I just don't see this happening if the guy on top is doing his job.
This is the Hollywood kungfu fight choreography of jj. Looks cool, but really? Would love to be wrong.

Yes, you are probably right, Bobby. And agree on the focus on effectiveness. Just think most tec is worth analyzing in the sense that it might be some detail/angle that can lead to new discoverys that would work. Is'nt that how the evolution keeps going? Of course follow'd by battletesting and so on.
