I've been squashing phonies since the beginning of time. I'm 500-0 against them. I have zero tolerance for them and can smell them miles away. This is scenario is typical of fake BBs. They only way to make them disappear is exactly what happened in this situation, smash them then expose them. Hurt their ego, because thats the only thing that drives a phoney. Inflated sense of self worth, that doesn't get put in check by going to battle on the mat with legit dudes that beat your ass everyday.

I'm noticing a pattern of phonies coming from a military/combatives background. Getting through the combatives program is comparable to maybe a months worth of jj and not really transferable. I've trained with many, but the one constant is that their resume is always waaaay more impressive than they are. As opposed to guys that are good and happen to be in the military. They never mention it.

I have no sympathy for him either. Every dime he made on the mats was theft. Fuck him.

Also, the UFC gym has 107 gyms but only 45 bjj instructors.? There better be 62 badass catch or sambo guys. Can you run a UFC gym without a quality grappling program? The answer is no.
