Great! Just listen to your body, if your hurt u should take time off, don't be a dumbie and keep fighting through it cuz it will take even longer to heal back up. And on another note, don't be shy to tap, waiting too long to tap can make u end up with an injury, don't be stubborn, one day you'll be tapping out a lot of guys too (or controling, no need to try to tap people everytime), trust me, it took me about 4-5 months to tap out someone for the first time.

Congrats man! Your story is giving me some hope. I'm brand new to training and my body is not liking it. I'm wearing a brace on my knee already, I did something to my shoulder last night (tendon strain I think), and I'm starting to wonder if my body is going to hold up long enough to get any kind of skill set built up. Your story or being patient and working through injuries makes me feel better about my chances.
