Hi guys Jason from GV Jiu Jitsu here (That's in country Victoria... that's in country Australia ;D).
Just had to give a major THANKYOU to Master Eddie for the details in MTS 85 and 84 especially.
You're concepts on associating drills with specific Warm Up days has completely changed the way I run my school and my classes.
The idea of attaching drills to class themes/ techniques is nothing new, but as my school is so beginner heavy (most of them don't even know who Royce is :0) building the entire class around the Warm Up curriculum has greatly improved the overall skill level and speed of which the students are developing.
It also helps take the edge off of all the details from the warm ups as they put it into practice automatically.
And it's translatable to both new and old students alike.
Also the details and tweaks for the truck in 85 really connected a lot of dots for me.
Brilliant.
Thanks again.
