What's up, 10p. New to the forum here. This was my first competition. I started training in January under Denny Prokopos @ 10th Planet - San Francisco. If anyone has technical feedback, hit me up.

Awesome matches.That second kid got points because he grabbed the legs then Sam pulled guard. I know that if a guy has any part of your knee if/when you pull guard, then he'd be starting with a disadvantage with guard. It's all a moot point tho if you just submit the guy. I like his triangle setups. It's always important to control the guys posture and to pull their head when they're in your triangle. Great matches and great experiences. He'll only continue to grow and learn more technique, and has an amazing instructor in his corner in Denny. I definitely look forward to seeing a lot more of his matches.

Denny got a 10th prodigy on his hand. I was amazed with Sam. With just 6 months of training only and he is this good. WOW

Thank you for the kind words. In fact, Sam had just two months' training at this point - he started the first week of January. His mom and I, needless to say, are beyond impressed with his progress and achievements.

Sam and I will be up front at EBI 3, cheering the Triangle Queen and the rest of the 10p crew on to victory! We very much enjoy watching your matches.
