I've been a TM practitioner for almost 4 years and rarely miss a meditation. Twice per day for 20 mins, and so does Grankwife and my two teenage kids (10-15 mins). My chiropractor has never met anyone who recovers faster from trauma or injury than me. There are many factors that contribute to this, but the main one has to be my twice daily TM meditation. It is a massive stress reliever of my nervous system and it shows. Im 44 years old and still train hard all week long all year long and I have my fair share of injuries trust me. but I feel that my TM daily practice contributes greatly to my rehab and recovery not to mention my elevated testosterone levels, creativity and over enthusiasm!

Definetily different things affect pain. Almost forgot to mention the first time I noticed a lessening of pain was after going through a bit of The Secret Behind The Secret book Eddie Talked about in the Twister Book. Doing some of the many the exercises they give help me realize for the first time how to raise my frequency with guided thoughts. Made it seem like a simple math problem like 1+2=3 but with thoughts. My emotions and frequency were so low most of the time out of seemingly my control, that when I started to feel these highs of frequency raising, I noticed a bunch of my mystery pains would disappear. Then the moment I started thinking negatively about something and got stuck on that negative thought energy the weird knee, back, and whatever else would start hurting again. I was stunned when I realized this. These mystery pains that were always popping up most of my life would just vanish the second my thoughts changed. It was a bit like a drug at first because I was always in such a crappy state from unhealthy eating and bad mental habits that it was like I had taken some happiness drug that kicks in instantly. Just have to start that journey up the frequency ladder step by step with thought until eventually you can do it by feel, but could be different for everybody. I still think there are higher level ways to raise your frequency than using the wanting of things, but I get it now. The majority are so caught up in everything in the physical dimension, that the ways of the physical dimension are the easiest way to get the information through to the most people possible. Like the fast food version "The Secret" movie its just one class in a full day of classes in frequency school. Once you realize how to navigate your emotional levels and fix those instant negative thoughts that pop up, you become capable of so much more when you stop expecting the worst all the time and doubting yourself

I have to find out one day if there was a reason for doing this other than to freak people out and make that freak show money. Why, just why? Does the result really justify the years it probably takes to learn this or was he just that unlucky monk kid that got talked into being the iron balls guy

That is awesome. To this day I still havnt studied what exactly is done in TM meditation. Our bodies can do so much more when energy isnt being wasted on unnecessary thoughts and muscle tension. When I was 20-ish years old, a back scan showed I had the back of a 60 year old. Thought I would never do any sports or hard working labor job. Now Im 33 and feel 16 when I eat right and keep up with my meditation exercises. So many factors involved. Like every time you stack on another healthy life habit it just slowly keeps adding to the pile of healthy and regeneration until you realize that you feel nothing like you used to

To strengthen a massive weakpoint. Spend your life training as a martial artist only to have a child bring you to your knees by punching you in the crotch? No way, gotta find a remedy for that.

LOL, oh crap. Thats a good way to look at it. After all these years of wearing a cup while training, I often forget a little kid with a accurate kick could floor me. That was one of the good things I got from kung fu when I first started martial arts, how to move your nuttz out of the way correctly.

At some point somebody probably got bored with just taking simple blows to the groin. Probably thought to them self, man I would love to put this heavy rock back over there but my arms are dead. Maybe if i just tie a rope around the rock and my balls and drag this thing over there
