Personally, I'm more than happy with the 4.95 and the quality as well.
As you know, the files are already pushing a gig at the quality they are. Imagine the file size to have a 2 hour HD quality video.
By the way, an HTML5 wrapper using videojs and .VTT files makes watching MTS as simple as pie
