Question About the Guillotine Chokes Priority in MMA

well i understand you the last time i attempted a guillotine was when i was grappling with some friends and the only subs i knew were the arm bar and guillotine now id rather work my rubber guard or prison guard when i get taken down i personally would never go for a guillotine from sprawl position ive never seen it or atleast dont remember it seems silly to me and the same standing and dropping to your guard if i cant get it standing then ill give up i def wouldnt pull guard so i understand what you mean
