Odd thread title I know...
That being said, I'm a long time BJJ fan with absolutely zero experience. Also, I'm not ashamed to say I learned of 10th Planet from the JRE.
I'm starting at Diesel Gym (10th Planet London) tomorrow. So... I'd like to ask how best to approach my new journey. I know I'm going to get rag dolled, I expect that much. But what else should I expect? Or a better question: if you could restart your own journey, what pitfalls/bad habits would you avoid? Or what do you wish you started doing sooner?
Also, how could I best utilize my time/experience each week? I plan on going every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I'll also mix in some Muay Thai and MMA once or twice a week just because it's available.
