Thoughts on Eddie’s obsession with conspiracy theories

The hard truth is that most people are unwilling or incapable of confronting even the possibility that these things are true. Plenty of people are still thinking lockdown doesn't work, or that weed makes you lazy, or that debris from towers 1 and 2 simultaneously cut 80 steel reinforced columns to bring building 7 down at free-fall speed.

It's VERY hard for most people to confront information that undermines their most basic ideas about how the world and their society works. They resist as hard as they can those ideas, like a whitebelt getting mounted, they spaz. They often get angry. They usually don't want to talk about science or facts, instead they use emotional words like "wacko" or "crazy".

There's plenty of stuff that me and Eddie don't see eye to eye on. As a matter of fact, when I first got involved with 10p I would say that we didn't agree on much of anything. That didn't make me want to not learn from the man. I've even been swayed to the dark side on many, many issues.

Here's something I've learned about Eddie over the years as we've become friends and gotten to know each other: he's a pretty smart dude. And these things that he's passionate about, he has researched and thought about way more than 99.9% of the people who criticize his beliefs. That's an important point, because even if he is a crazy person, he's an informed crazy person; that's an important distinction between him and the dissenters.

Sandy Hook was not very thoroughly researched. In fact, it was an atrocious thing to espouse. With that said, I'm not here for the politics, the religion, etc. It's his planet, his forum, no one is forcing me to be here. I enjoy the welcoming nature of this place and the things I disagree with, I leave behind. No big drama. God bless.

I think when Eddie publicizes a conspiracy theory that is truly cringeworthy (e.g., who knows what really happened at Sandy Hook?), it gives someone a reason to choose a different gym. You consider that a “ridiculous attack” on 10p… we can agree to disagree.

I was referring to shit we've dealt for years such as Eddie pushing drug use for children, which is absurd.

If you choose a gym because of a different political view or because you think tower 7 fell due to jet fuel, good. We don't need you.

Eddie has opened my eyes on alot of things and i am grateful for it. I did not like hearing many of these things at first, and hoped that the world did not operate like that.

But i have come to accept the world as it is and hope that in some way i can effect positive change and make a difference where i can.

I would just like to take this opportunity to point out the fact that it is the mainstream media that has literally programmed people's mind to make the connection between "Conspiracy Theorist" and "Wack job".

That is programming at its' finest right there. When you hear those words, if you are a kool-aid drinking sheep and you let CNN form your opinions and manipulate your subconsious on a regular basis, then you are going to equate it with "Wack job" or "Nut bar" or any other combination of words that you use to describe a crazy person.

The thing about it is, there is proof out there. There are books for people who don't follow the leads directly. The Council on Foreign relations, The Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commision, etc; all of them make public statements and release documentation describing their goals and objectives, and their means of reaching those goals and objectives. These massive heartless Corporations make public statements whenever they have new people join their company, so we can continually see the revolving door between Gvoernment and Corporation, as bodies flow between Monsanto and Government, and many other Corporations that only the 1% benefit from.
The proof is everywhere in public record, you just have to look, or refer to researchers that do the digging for you.

But people are too busy watching Kanye and whoever else's drama, fighting over football teams and tripping over themselves in an arguement with each other about Republican's VS Democrats (Which is all just another bullshit system set up to keep 99% of the population contected with the illusion that they actually have a voice on the matter)

Conspiracy = An evil, unlawful, treacherous, or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons; plot.
Theory = An idea or set of ideas that is intended to explain facts or events. An idea that is suggested or presented as possibly true but that is not known or proven to be true.

The only word that doesn't fit is theory, because it is not a theory at all.

Call Eddie a Conspiracy researcher instead.
