Hey guys I had a really fun experience this weekend. I helped out a small card with some last notice grappling. I knew my opponent wasn't going to be on quite the same level as me and we are pretty cool with each other, so we had some fun.
First I started the match going for the firas flying web guard. I missed it a little bit but was able to hit mission control right away. After a quick regroup, I went through my own basic RG path. Gag reflex > crack head control > Dead Orchard.
To be 100% honest since I flew through my entire path quick. I was sure I could finish if I wanted so I let it go when he postured to keep it playful and fun. I knew in my mind I could get back to my Dead Orchard any time I wanted to. So we had some playful exchanges, the kids not even 18 yet and I wanted to make sure he got some mat time and rolling experience. That's what it's all about. I did some unnecessary inverted rolls, and let loose. We had some fun. There was no reaping and I accidentally hit honey hole, so you see me bail on itpretty quickly. After some back and forth... Finally went back through the path to finish. RG. crack head. Dead Orchard. Kimura.
My 3rd comp in a row now with a Dead Orchard finish in at least one of my matches that night.
