Great info but it needs a voice-over. Reading the text while trying to watch the technique at the same time is difficult.

I really like the idea of seeing the pin, the control of your opponent's posture using upward hip pressure. The heel hook itself is a small detail compared to control of your opponent. Great info.

Love watching this evolution of Jiu Jitsu.

Hmmm, I'm not so sure. I think only a minority of the community has awoken. Most are still in denial. Go hang out with IBJJF competitors and ask them about the evolution of heel hooks in the BJJ game.

You are lucky to be 10p, where changes to the art are identified and assimilated as quickly as possible. No one in 10p is afraid that there is something new they don't know... they are excited there is something new that they (and most people) don't know.

I'm just not sure that the majority of the BJJ community is awake to that yet.

Especially when whole schools hide behind IBJJF rules that protect them from any kind of serious leg attack. It's easy to be in denial when guys are not allowed to use the techniques on you.
