    This does really suck. It's not quite as bad as it is made out to be though IMO. This is his third offense for the same problem. Pretty typical for a system to be three strikes and you're out. It's for sure his own fault.

    That being said, he's fun to watch. Hopefully his lawyer can get him out of it.

    On that note, our local Sheriff Dept is suing the State of Colorado for legalizing weed. The city police here are cool, but the Sheriffs are very unethical and sketchy. One of them, after being in the department for 20 years, committed a hit and run recently, but was fortunately caught. I fuckin' hate the Larimer County Sheriff!!!

    This will almost certainly be overturned by another judge. The NSAC didn't even follow their own (albeit recently established) standard for the offense. From their own info:

    The NSAC's own rules: Cannabis
    3rd offense: 36-month suspension fine of 60-75% of purse

    NSAC suspending Nick Diaz for 5 years for pot is an irresponsible abuse of power. It's callous, idiotic and sickening.
