Loyalty is not mutually exclusive. Some guys, like myself, are highly loyal to our lineage but are on a quest to learn jiu jitsu to it's fullest and don't discount knowledge from whatever source. Since stumbling upon 10p, I've discovered completely different and unorthodox paths in my rolls that constantly throw off higher level guys from traditional schools. My leg lock game is heavily
heavily influenced by 10p, in fact more than a few black belts have tapped to my top-side ashi (s/o to Nathan Orchard). Quarter guard/half-guard game, heavy 10p influence. I learned delariva and reverse delariva from traditional schools, but really smoothened it out and actually started catching people in the sweeps & taking backs once I visited Denny's school and he broke it down. And the truck. Ohhh the truck. The truck is my favorite position in jiu-jitsu, and I'm discovering new ways to enter it the more I train.
Way I see it: haters gonna hate, players gonna play.
