Hi guys, I've been a fan of the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu thing for a while, but only recently have I seriously begun to attempt the techniques (usually I would simply learn the techniques my coach would teach, however, I have begun to be more active in determining what I learn). I see that "Mastering the Rubber Guard" is on amazon; however, it's from 2006 and I have to wonder how much the young system has changed in that time. I was considering getting a monthly subscription to the site -- IIRC, the site has something like what Marcelo Garcia and Gracie University does, where you can learn online with a subscription -- would that be a better option than the book given its recency?
Thanks to you all. I hope to train at a 10th Planet gym one day. Unfortunately there isn't one in my city, but I might be moving soon ...
