That's crazy. Do we even have a bracket yet? I noticed they are also giving lines for each fighter to win the 1st round.. and without knowing an opponent?

One thing to always keep in mind when looking at betting odds, the odds do NOT reflect who the bookie thinks will win. The bookie sets odds so that he spreads the action. He wants half his bets (technically his exposure) to be on one side, and half on the other side of any line he offers. That way there is no volatility and he gets his 10-15% vig no matter who wins. (Losers pay for the winners plus some left over for the house)

So these odds reflect who this odds-maker anticipates people are going to bet on.

This is normal; its that way for ADCC betting odds every time too. There are always people they feel are less likely to win than some random yahoo's that are not even definitely in the event yet. Also note that the +4500 is a bet that might cover more than one person (all big underdogs) while the other is just one underdog.

A better value might be Nathan at +650. About twice as much money to be one with a bet on him than Denny or Gary.

Tonon and Denny are the favorites to win according to these odds. +350 means that for every dollar you bet you'll win $3.50.
Conversely if you see -350 it means that you would have to bet $3.50 to win $1.00.

Yup that's exactly right, which is why a line that has "even odds" usually looks like this: -110 / -110 ... you bet $1.10 to win $1.00 on either side of the line. If, hypothetically, there are $110 bet on the left side and $110 bet on the right side, then the house's "exposure" is $100 on each side of the line (amount they could potentially owe out). So if the left side wins, they take $100 of the $110 that was bet by the losers and use it to pay off the winners. But they collected $110 and their exposure was only $100, leaving a net revenue of $10 for the house. As long as the bookie's exposure on both sides of the line is equal, the house wins no matter what the outcome.

    Bookie's are smarter than gamblers

I actually spent two years in vegas writing software for the M resort and casino's sports book. I was often working physically in the sports book itself, behind the scenes. It was really interesting to watch the bookies make odds and adjust odds as the bets come in. Fascinating.

On that betdsi site I got Orchard at +300 to win his first match not in overtime. Threw $10 down, why not?

hey, friend, to be honest, I do the same for the same purposes as it brings me excitement and sometimes even money. The excitement increases simply in tens of times under anticipation and then just watching battlefield and it's not so much about winning as the emotions you get from this process and that's why I mostly use Karamba free bet bonus code, so I don't care if I win or not the main thing is fun
