Lets say u got a guy in full guard. You break him down into a free new york, double bagged, but the opponent has both hands to the mat pushing up with straight elbows so your basically holding yourself up to him. Ill sometimes do major leg curls from crackhead control to try and get one elbow to the mat but if the guys to big it wont work. Whats the best course of action here? I cant really clear the neck because if i do his right arm is usually loaded up and ready to pull out with his head (if im holding onto my left leg in new york). When I cant break him down any further should I try like a meat hook triangle setup or should i try and rush into a gogo clinch? I'm still kinda new to the system sorry if this is a dumb question.
