Hey Everyone!
Been too long since I posted. I've been training hard and took a little time off competing to hone my craft. I went to Fuji Nationals in Chicago last weekend and competed. Things didn't quite go my way.
First match I am truly disappointed to say the footage got lost. Uploaded it to YouTube. Deleted the original file the next day. Went to watch it on YouTube and it said upload had failed. Super bummed about it. Lost to a really good Purple Belt/Brown Belt Judoka after a 5-6 min match.
2nd match is posted below. This was a brown belt by the name of Junior. Not sure on his last name.
Please post advice, criticism, support, etc.
I would greatly appreciate it.
I am still dealing with a lot of nerves when competing, but starting to build some confidence.
Also, I definitely should have completed the pass after the sweep, and not dropped back for a leg lock. (Reaping and heel hooks were illegal, and I had a moment of hesitation which caused me to have bad leg positioning and lose it altogether).
