My training partner is having success striking while inside my lockdown.
He has good flexibility in his hips, his base is strong and is stronger than me. Sits back on my lockdown and unloads.
My coach tells me to transition to butterfly guard or all the way out and play an open guard. As I am not having much luck against this guy.
What do you guys think? Any advice?
