Current 10P Ronin Ranking Qualifications

Hello everyone!

I've earned a BJJ blue belt at my local school that I train at since the nearest moon is over 3 hours away (10P Bethlehem). I saw a few times that to be ranked through 10P is to post 15 videos (10 comp wins while wearing 10P shorts, 1 rubber guard, 1 half guard, 1 twister, 1 deep hook transitions to spider web, and 1 passes all unedited and no longer than 3 mins each). Is this still an accurate/active way to be long distance promoted?

Also, in competitions, I haven't earned any 10P rank so if I wear ranked gear should it reflect white or blue belt? About to order some new Gear in prep for this and I just want to order the correct stuff.

If you are a blue belt in Gi BJJ, you are Blue Belt in 10P. That being said, if you want to be a part if 10P get toypur nearest moon as often as possible. If you want it you'll make it happen.

Non black belt legitimate BJJ ranks can transfer over to 10p.

Note that the guidelines you posted do not guarantee you anything at all. Especially past blue belt, getting ranked online isn't something Eddie or 10p has ever made easy. Much like a belt at most regular gyms, there are certain expectations but once those are met it is at the instructors discretion to rank you. Only a hand full of people have successfully gotten a 10p rank online. The Gracie Academy online we are not

Also note that I believe you listed the guidelines for ranking to blue. It was listed as progressively more each rank.

And yeah, that's also from an old post so you should assume Eddie reserves the right to ask even more now

But really, in practice, the comp performance and the dedication to the system you've shown are HUGE if your going to rank online. So those wins are going to be specifically looked at in terms of "are you up to the skill level" and not "oh, well he won the number of wins we asked for"

I'd highly, highly, recommend getting to a 10p gym at least some. Those online ranking were always for those who had no way possible to get to a moon and if you want to be a moon head some day I would say that willingness to go the extra mile is something that is very much appreciated.
