I'm a huge El Cucuy fan, how is he gonna deal with a wrestler like Lee, Tony striking is much better than Lee but how is he gonna deal with lee if he decides to take him down. Last guy Tony lost to was a wrestler in Michael Johnson but that was a long time ago, bus still Tony has not fought a high level wrestler since. Like I said am a huge El Cucuy fan and feeling very anxious and excited for this fight.

Tony did well against Danny Castillo. I think Tony fights well off his back. He's unorthodox and is good at mixing up striking and grappling off his back. He can obviously attack darces and guillotines from the bottom. Omoplata, armbars, triangles, kimuras. He's good at inverting for the legs or coming up on singles. He's good at inverting and throwing hammerfists. He's hard to pin down and has very underrated wrestling himself so he's great at standing back up.

I've seen people paint Tony as sort of a Diaz fighter where a wrestler type of fighter is his kryptonite. I don't agree with that. Tony comes from a wrestling background and even though he doesn't use a ton of offensive wrestling, he uses defensive wrestling very well.

I think the idea that someone can beat Tony by wrestling and keeping him down is much easier said than done and I think it's a gameplan that doesn't hold up under pressure. Is there's anyone that can out grapple Tony and hold him down it's Khabib. And even with that match-up I'm not sold that Khabib can manhandle ZTony the way he has everyone else in the division.

I think you have got to be multi-dimensional to beat Tony and I think Lee is great but I don't think he has enough tools to do it.

Dude thanks I can now sleep easy. The main strength I attribute to Tony is his aggression the guy is just nasty. Can't wait for the fight.

Lol. I could be wrong. I hope I'm not. Tony is really seasoned, and people have at so many points written him off or said that this next guy would be the guy to beat him. I really think Khabib and Conor are the two biggest threats he has a 155 but I don't want to sleep on Kevin Lee either.

Besides Khabib and Conor I would say Justin Gaethje is a potential threat aswell, I wouldn't underestimate him. The Lightweight and Welterweight divisions are by far the most interesting right now.

Besides Khabib and Conor I would say Justin Gaethje is a potential threat aswell, I wouldn't underestimate him. The Lightweight and Welterweight divisions are by far the most interesting right now.

Gaethje has a few fights in him left ( by the style he is using ) and no chance vs higher tier strikers like Tony or Conor.
So as the Sex Pistols said... " No future for you " or him in that case.
