Silver and Gold at NAGA

I recently competed at Naga in Myrtle Beach SC and Las Vegas NV. In Myrtle Beach, I was the only person flying the 10th Planet colors and was happy to take 2nd. In Vegas, I was happy to have my coaches and teammates there in support and I took gold by guillotine choke within the first minute. The first time I have been able to finish it was made sweeter by doing for a gold medal in a competition.

After Myrtle Beach, I was able to drop into 10Th Planet Cookeville Tn and train with Michael Bartlett and the crew there. Had a good class and great reception there. I felt as at home there as I do in Vegas.

I am so happy to be apart of the 10th Planet family.

Thank you, Eddie. I'm happy to do that well as an old guy in my first two tournaments. Casey Halstead has assembled a great team and great coaches out here in Vegas.

I have Smoke Serpent's "Jiu Jitsu" on my playlist to help me pump up before I compete. I play it a lot on my way home after training as well
