I was training for Turkish National Championship and suddenly heel hooked 4 days ago. I told my grand mommy the situation and here is her traditional effective solution:
In turanic Asian countries (like Japan,Korea,Turkey) we have a culture to make soup by giblets. There is a soup made by cows foot meat,nob, foot and back knee tendons, water of choppy tighbones and inside joints.
It has a terrific taste so they add a lot of garlic and butter in it.
It includes extreme amount of major and minor supplies for joints and tendons. I ate it 2 times per day (yes it was hard
) It is called "foot and trotter soup"
The next step is just find a natural honey with honeycombs and put on your tendons. It will not only feed it but also make it sticky for next step. Put 2 pills of glucosamine sulphate in a little amount of water and press the pills with something heavy until they become juicy in water. Now put the juice on your honey,mix them by scribing fast.
Cream on them some Dolgit Ibuprofen (a very effective cream) like massaging to your tendons.
Last step: tie it with something thin and ice press on tendons like a crazy for 20 minutes!
