I don't really watch TUF (forgive me TUF fans) but I just watched the finale card and man it was crunk AF. Apparently the UFC has a new 125 women's division and this card was stacked with savage and beautiful ladies making their UFC debuts.
First of all this Rachael Ostovich is one of the sexiest female fighters I have ever seen. God damn.
She got skills too. Dominated her fight with picturesque grappling... double leg, guard pass, scramble, armbar. (1st round sub) Of course I had to creep her background and interestingly she is the daughter of a successful pro fighter from Hawaii and is a training parter of our Twister champ Angela Lee. Badass.
...and get this there were two other first round armbars (these girls taking after Rousey?) for a total of three armbars in one night. Wild.
For sure though the biggest highlight of the night was this undefeated maniac from Wales named Brett Johns who SUBMITTED JOE SOTO IN 30 SECONDS WITH A CALF SLICER FROM THE TRUCK. (entered the truck instantly by countering the first single leg attempt) He gave a shoutout to EBI post-fight as one of his training partners is an EBI competitor apparently. I was ashamed that D.C. and whoever that other clown was doing commentary weren't familiar with the position. I guess I need to get back to AKA sooner and more often lol.
In the main event they belted the new female 125lb champion and it was this outstanding competitor Nicco Montanio that rose to the top. A five round decision win capped off by an unbelievable defense of Roxanne Modafferi's full guard onslaught in the fifth round including a DEEP armbar in the final seconds of the fight. Ulimited heart and humble/loveable personally. She happens to be 100% Navajo, raised on the reservation. That is American as it gets. Cheers girl.
