If the earth is not flat... Why flying to America from Japan longs 12 hours? If they just past the ocean to the opposite side it would be maximum 2 hours.

I want to start a Kickstarter and pay for a flat earther (presumably the leader of the movement) to be taken up into space. When he comes back down he tells all his flat Earth tin foil hat wearing buddies that the Earth is round and they all have to move out of their moms' basements.

I have been thinking a lot about how much ancient cultures knew about, mapped and catalouged the "heavens" or the sun moon and stars/constellations (thousands and thousands of years before operation paperclip and NASA)

In particular its amazing that they catalogued the Precession of the Equinoxes in the Zodiac which is an unbelievable phenomena that lasts something like 25,000 years then repeats its cycle. Every 2100 years or so, the sun rises in front of one of the 12 particular constellations of the Zodiac. The precession of the equinoxes can only be explained by ONE THING... and that is Axial Tilt of a sphere or globe. The fact that they knew it repeats every 25,000 years means to me that ancient cultures have known about this information and passed it own for AT LEAST one or two of the 25,000 year periods (maybe more)

I would love to see video, helmet cam style, one long shot, no edits, no cuts; From the boarding onto one of those ISS cargo ships on earth, from the take off to the docking onto the ISS in space, to the boarding onto the ISS. A time elapsed video of that whole event would be insane. Even if it’s an 18 hour video. Show me all of that, not just tiny little edited bits, and I will stop questioning the space science presented to us. Watching how cargo ships dock onto the space station at 17,000 miles an hour would be incredible! Make that happen and I will believe
