Hey y'alls!
Several kids from my current school at home (Team Flo BJJ) went out to Naga in Hanover MA this past weekend. 3 of us are big fans of the system, with 2 of us (Ryan and Nate) competing with yours truly helping to corner and take photos. Ryan took 1st in his weight division nogi; Nate made his return to competition after a year out and challenged himself going up a skill level and facing 2 high caliber solid blues Gi.
Please pardon the color commentary or other side convos!
Ryan vs Gray Intermediate Welterweight Nogi 02172018 (fast forward to 1:21, we were chatting prior).

MAH00649 Nate vs Gray Blue Featherweight Gi 0218201 (lockdown work begins 0:37)

MAH00604 Ryan vs IronMan Welterweight Intermediate Nogi 02172018 (Dead Orchard! well mostly he crossed it as much possible)

Some other thoughts on the weekend-glad that it didn't take 10 hours to finish this year (Ryan did just nogi and left along with our head Instructor Chris to help support one of our other teammates who had an MMA fight that same night) and Nate and I left the venue around 6:30pm ET (instead of the 10:30pm ET last year).
ANy feedback for the matches below are welcome! Nate and I did some drilling Sunday to review some of the places to improve upon, and Ryan is always working hard every week to get better. I'm doing my thing as well training alongside them and working to improve my film work and photos as always (I haven't been competing as much but will likely get in a few more this year, and Ryan and Nate will as well).
Until then.....no child supporch!....
