its ridiculous to assume that because a mathematical explanation exists, then a half baked correlation that barely considers the totality should be regarded seriously. as if because of the mere fact that it could be calculated, then those calculations necessarily imbue the actual forces of nature, consciousness included.

its like when the idiots first measured the ozone hole and assumed that humanity's CFC production was entirely responsible for it, then some long time later they discovered there is a natural ozone destruction mechanism.

=understanding a bit of the process and making the "here be dragons" parts out of whole cloth, as it were.

Last I checked, CFCs do deplete the ozone and production has been phased out. Also, last I checked, researchers calculated that just storing information of about a couple of hundred electrons would require a computer memory that would physically require more atoms than exist in the universe....but then again these calculations could have been simulated.

outside the simulation? who knows. there is a theorie for the matrix movies (machines harvest human energy because human darkend the sky to get rid of machines): the "outside" of the matrix is another layer of simulation, to control the guys that try to escape. thats the reason why neo can use his force outside the matrix. i don't think we could ever know its a simulation, which makes it kind of a mindfuck. but if it would be human made, it would have flaws. wouldn't it?

and considering the fast changes in computers from 1970 until today and considering that every highculture in history vanished... its nothing that could be proven right or wrong, like the existance of god(s)
