Won Double Gold this weekend! Grappling Industries Gi 155 Purple Belt Bracket

Hey All,
Been a bit of a while since I posted any comp videos.
Just took double gold at Grappling Industries.

First up was my Gi 155lb Purple Belt Bracket.

Had a blast competing. I only train in the gi maybe once every week or two, but I decided to jump in the bracket and test my luck. Was really enjoyable to also do well and take gold.

First match was a leg lock battle. Could not do heel hooks, so I wasnt able to finish off of several positons that should have been dead zones.

Ended up winning on a refs decision.

2nd match. Won via gi variation of the baseball bat choke. Felt a tap, but opponent said he went out right after.

3rd match was up 5-2. Ended up losing on points. I had bottom and wanted to keep lockdown and sweep or just win on points with 2 min left. Never tried to stall before, so I felt it was only right I ended up losing. haha. Never again. Submission Only 4 life :P

Match 4. Ended up winning with an ankle lock.
Been working on breaking lapel grips, which can be a nuisance when attacking leg locks. Was able to hit DOA off the grip break and establish a deep ankle lock for the victory.

Any feedback is appreciated. What to work on. Etc
