Where is good for nogi Jiu Jitsu in Miami?

I might go to Miami for a a holiday, where is good for nogi training there? I can google bjj gyms myself but I’m after solid advice from someone’s experience please.

It might be 45 mins away depending on how deep into Miami you are but in my honest opinion you would be a fool to not check out American Top Team HQ in Coconut Creek at least once or twice.

Its probably the second or third best gym in the ENTIRE WORLD in my opinion... black belt and monster gorilla CITY. They have current UFC champion Amanda Nunes who is virtually unbeatable right now. Also I have to say Tecia Torres is my bar far my favorite female fighter after seeing her training there in person. I have never encountered someone with a bigger "aura" ...she was/is ferocious (also my MMA crush, no judgement) oh shit I am rambling about Tecia Torres now. I do that sometimes lol (I don't think she trains there anymore though). They have a long, long list of super-successful UFC fighters and champions. They even had a huge part in making Tyron Woodley who he is, another current champion.

Your boy from the UK Brad Pickett trained there for a while. I remember seeing him use Lockdown effectively in a UFC fight after having camp there, that was pretty awesome. They are very very 10P friendly (they cheered me on as I used electric chairs, or I should say they cheered Eddie on hehe) and they really appreciate the creative/artsy side of MMA. Watch Yoel Romero strike, holy shit, its like a trippy lullaby that lures you into an explosive death... you never know what that dude is going to throw. My homie Coach Jucao (Roan Carneiro) who runs ATT Atlanta came up from there also... one of the most inspiring people I have ever met and one of my heroes for sure.

Miami has a nice jiu Jitsu scene, he’s the first guy that comes to mind tho. Go there and you’ll find what you’re looking for.
