A few weeks late but here are our superfights from Global Grappling League in Syracuse, NY. James Banville and Francis St. Amour both took convincing victories and I stepped up last minute for a superheavyweight co-main event despite a 60 lb weight difference (but got the job done after 4 minutes of being used as a mop). As many of you may have heard, running BJJ tournaments is illegal in Montreal, making it tough for our team to find local competitions. As a result, we've been packing ourselves into small cars and travelling to compete at least once a month (this was our 8th competitive outing in 2018). The next day we drove from Syracuse to Toronto to compete at a tournament there and once again, the team had a dominant outing. You can catch us next at the Finishers open on August 11th, and on the Finishers main card (three of us will be featured, including James Banville in the 155lb pro division) on August 12th.
