I just bought The Desert Sessions Volume 9 & 10 from iTunes and holy CRAP is it good. I was wondering if anyone had heard of it and/or knew where I could get the rest of the CD's at a lower cost. I guess vol. 1 & 2 is some kinda collector's item because I'm only finding CD's for sale between 45 & 100 bucks!
At the risk of sounding like an advertisement, if you like Kyuss, QOTSA, etc then you should check out the Desert Sessions. It's all these musical experiments that some of the guys from Kyuss and QOTSA did out in the desert. Volumes 1 & 2 were apparently all done under the influence of psyclobin mushrooms or something...
