Varicocele

I had an Urology control and doctor told me that “it feels like I have a varicocele in my left testicle to his hand”. And wanted some tests. Tomorrow I will do those tests. I heard that that a micro surgery is a must for that disease.

Any guys had that? Will it affect my trainings?

So what I would do is make sure to get an ultrasound done first to ensure that its indeed a variococele rather than a hydrocele if you only had a physical examination. I had a scare once but it turned out I was just a retard that couldn't identify my own anatomy properly. Depending on the placement of the fluid buildup I believe there's a good probability its indeed a variococele if he's diagnosing it outright, but if he's recommending surgery I'd definitely make sure to have an ultrasound done. A lot of variococeles don't need treatment, but depending on the grade it can mess with temperature of the testes and start affecting your sperm quality and lead to infertility. Don't freak yourself out like I did, they're quite treatable. Best of luck to you.

I have not had a varicocele, but I have had emergency surgery down there. Didn’t roll for a week. Wore a MMA cup for three weeks after that, until I couldn’t take the pressure of the cup anymore, lol. Listen to your body but follow doctor’s orders as well. I would think a varicocele surgery has risks of internal bleeding, esp depending on where they make the incision. Good luck!
