I have a question? Summit city submissions your teacher Noah were did he get his 10 planet training from

Ooh...are you going to try to trap me with the fact that he got boned by Brandon Quick? And how Brandon threw him away like an old newspaper when he got found out? The facts are that Noah's been training Jiu Jitsu since a little after UFC 1. Brandon actually took alot of his moves from Noah. And I believe Brandon recently placed third in the Miami Open Brown Belt division. Ari Bolden did a seminar in Chicago some time back that Noah attended and told Noah that he had a stronger working knowledge of 10th Planet than he did. He asked Noah, if I'm quoting this story correct, if he was a black belt while Noah and were helping some kids adjust Old School and Lockdown and the basics they were covering.

If this is a legit question, I'm sorry I got so mean. I believe Noah learned 10th Planet from the books, the DVD's and just showing up at various Gyms. He's now a 2 stripe white belt under Marcelo Monteiro because he wants to secure unquestionable lineage. This is his lineage now.....Dela Riva-Marcelo Monteiro-Noah Karbach. But we still got love for 10th Planet at Summit City Submissions.

I was asking because you go to the web site there's no info on the teacher. I know that that the people who teach 10 planet are legit with the system.

He once thought he was a legit bjj brown belt and it was posted on the website that he was, but his old instructor now claims Japanese Jiu Jitsu lineage so he's done with that guy and the website is down for now. And we're under a new system that is Gi oriented. But he teaches nogi options for every gi option. It's like we're barraged everyday with 18 transitions that we have to memorize on a dime or we're going to lose our edge. It's intense.

You know, I truly believe some people get fooled by fake BBs, guys who advertise that they have BB in BJJ and then promote. Even those with legit skills that feel burnt because they were never ranked open a school, and just for the fuck of it say they are whatever belt. (I know a yellow belt (i think) that crushes purples and some browns that no one wants to rank -- but I digress).

On the other hand, some schools, the instructor is injured and never rolls with anyone, and I am beginning to see this a lot!
But also, the infamous BJJ police go after many folk who fake the funk, so other than those who are caught, I can see a ton of grapplers who got rank from a fake BB running around soon to find out their linage has a problem, a broken link if you will.
