Tore my MCL, ACL, and meniscus in December of 2021. Had surgery Feb 2022.
Finally came back to competition after two years off.
Lost my first tournament and wasn稚 happy with my performance. There痴 no easy matches coming back to Brown belt competition and I felt slow and rusty.
Trained even harder, talked to some really great human beings like Nathan Orchard and Josh Passini to get my head right.
My second tournament back was this last weekend.
Faced a solid brown belt in my first match.
Faced the #5 ranked IBJJF Masters Purple in the country for 2022 in my second match.
First match I won via Russian Tie to Imanari to Armbar
Second Match I won with a baseball bat choke.
