^And just like that you have planted the seed of suspense. I am excited to see the lesson.

I ask Nino specifically about this detail.
Then when we roll you know I hide my foot like crazy!
I even tell him "there's no way you're getting the hook". What happens after that is jiu-jitsu gold.
I still can't believe how easily he reversed me.

    Next Monday brutha.
I'm glad to hear he covers this! It makes the suspense a little more bearable....a little....

P.S. I love the Rolled Up series. Keep em comin'!

Any chance of a download option later on for these videos? Same goes for the other shows?

No plans for this right now but who knows in the future.

Plenty more episodes of rolled up coming and new shows will debut in 2011 also.
    Thanks for the support!

So I'm guessing the move at 1:20-something is what you were talking about. It looks like he pendulums his leg down while basing with his other hand to really drive forward. I was hoping he'd give some details on it, but I guess I can recreate it in the laboratory. At any rate, great ep!

While I'm picking the brains of the collective, how do you folk deal with limp anklers? Is it ok to just trap the foot to keep them from taking my back, or do I really need to hook it and lift it up? Could I throw a lockdown on that leg instead? I'm very bored at work, if you couldn't tell!

Yep, such a simple movement. It's times like that when jiu-jitsu seems so effortless.

Not sure if this is going to make sense with text but I've seen Nino do this before with limp anklers. When the guy limps his ankle out he has no weight on top of you so at that time he does almost like a wrestler sit out and takes the guys back. The point is when he has you in side control he has to have weight on you to keep you there. When you hook his ankle and he escapes his weight is off you. That's when you take the offense and go to the back. Make sense?

As for the lockdown, well, I think everybody would agree that halfguard/lockdown is better than being stuck in side control if you can get it.
