I just stopped by 10th Planet Decatur. I have never been to a 10th Planet school and wanted to check it out. It was a great experience. Brandon was a very humble and knowledgeable instructor. Personally, my ground game sucks....but I have been to other jiu jitsu schools and rolled with blue belts that were not even close to the skill level of Brandon. It felt more like rolling with a purple or a brown belt. Also, the rubber guard is so difficult to deal with. I have never been in anyone's rubber guard and wow...it's crazy hard to deal with. Can't wait to learn more of the 10th Planet system.

McCaghren is a very hospitable gentleman and has always made me feel welcome when visiting. He even let me shower at his house and try on all his wife's clothes one time after a Chris Herzog seminar LONG ago.

Funny you should mention that. Last time I got Shanghaied I woke up in an overhead compartment of a Clingon Bird of Prey with one less kidney. Made me think, "Why are Clingons so hard up that they have to get on the black market organ trade?" Pretty sure I was probed to but thats just procedure.
