ADCC Rules help......

Check out that video posted on the UG at 7:25 the guy goes for a leg and the ref steps in and stops the action.....Why?

ADCC rules allow leg locks were the rules different in the '09 west-coast trials?

depending on the divison only straight ankle locks are allowed. plus maybe the ref didnt know what was going on so he rather operate on the side of caution.

and he was going for a "mata leao" on the foot aka toe hold
hes a brown belt so im assuming its outlawed in his division that and scissor leg take downs and maybe reaping the knee

Thanks for the info.....Must be what it was, Just not legal in that division.

I was trying to find a list of the rules from '09 trials but I could only find the current rules that said all leg locks are legal.

yea they said that when i looked online before the texas trials but when i got there they had different rules for each division.
