I'm signing back up at destruction mma tomorrow. I've trained there off and on as i could afford for the past 4 years. it's a good gym.

www.kcbjj.com or www.teamk2lmma.com are both great spots in KC. KCBJJ has several brown belts and a renato tavares bb in Jason Bircher. Great guys there.
K2L is more mma based but has ufc, strikeforce, bellator and wec vets training there morning and night. Several really tough dudes for sure!

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm on my way to St Louis now staying in Forest park. I may just look for the closest location if the weathers bad.

Rebumping this thread. I might be moving to the Shawnee Mission Kansas area (KC, Lenexa, etc). Does anybody else know of any other schools in the area I should check out?

That would be cool. I'm heading there for the seminar but it's too far for day to day training. Hopefully i can finding a place with morning classes.

So far my options to nearby gyms are between a Renato Tavares gym and a Nova Uniao gym. Has anybody heard anything about either of these schools?
