5 rds against Hendo, 5 rounds against Mayhem... he didn't really gas. As far as his stand up, my 2 year old will beat his ass. You do have a point on his subs. His only subs are against strikers. Damn... maybe I just want to see GSP lose lol.

I know I'm gonna take heat for this and I know GSP is the better all around fighter but I'm taking Jake, in the upset. Throw out his last fight, where he was struggling with back issues and making weight and Jake poses a serious threat to George. The way he dominated Hendo (who is bigger and stronger than GSP) for five rounds, was very impressive. GSP is due to lose and when he gets put on his back he's gonna find himself in a spot he's not used to. Jake will be ready and if he can avoid getting KOed, I think he has to be favored.

I really want to see GSP on his back. he is a bjj black belt under Bruno Fernandes and went up to brown under Renzo Gracie, so I guess he doesnt suck.
But guessing we wont see that against Shields

I would also like to point out that shield has only ever gone 5 rounds in middleweight. and JUST after his signing on the ufc he was all like- Nah weight cut isnt going to be a problem, i've already starting jogging.
And his UFC debut- UGH!!! I was so pumped to see him beat kampmann but kampmann ended up getting butt raped by the judges. Shields does NOT (in my opinion) deserve the title shot. I mean, at least put him against jon fitch first...

When GSP is due to lose I seriously cant see it against Jake, I think itd be to a middleweight when/if he moves up. Some one like a Chael "small balls" Sonnen, Mark Munoz or some other large high caliber wrestler via decision.
