I know I'm gonna take heat for this and I know GSP is the better all around fighter but I'm taking Jake, in the upset. Throw out his last fight, where he was struggling with back issues and making weight and Jake poses a serious threat to George. The way he dominated Hendo (who is bigger and stronger than GSP) for five rounds, was very impressive. GSP is due to lose and when he gets put on his back he's gonna find himself in a spot he's not used to. Jake will be ready and if he can avoid getting KOed, I think he has to be favored.

Hey what ups guys this is my first post, seems like a real chill forum and I cant wait to start training at a 10th planet gym sometime soon!
Back to the subject at hand though, what about the huge gap in stand up and do you think Shields can take gsp down? I agree that Jake poses a serious threat on the ground but can he complete the td? I'd expect to see a Sprawl and Brawl tactic from george and Jake having no answer for it except td after td attempt, IMO ofcourse.

I really hope Gsp wins this bout just so he can finally move to middle weight and fight Anderson Silva. Either way he will probably move up in weight regardless if he wins or lose. Shields is a good fighter he might be the one to finally break the winning streak of gsp
