    top fakes / baiting/ tricking

    whats your favorite
trickery fake move heres some of mine

opponent in my guard if there posture is to awesome
i fake an arm drag and as soon as they pull back i hip bump
it usually works unless i sit up to slow

in half guard i over exagerate old school by yanking on it like crazy
and go back to guard when they base out there foot

fake north south choke to get them to move there arms close to there neck
it usually creates enough space to throw in your deep hook
and swim move if they go back to there knees
(this only worked once for me and i couldnt finish the arm bar :-( lol

i cant think of anymore right now
but you guys share yours :-D

    this ones pretty cool too

marcelo leaves his arm out a little
    diego throws in a kimura
(which cant be finished if your flat on your back or in half guard i think lol)
but it also gave marcelo a deep hook!

i think i can use this one if i drill the shit out of it and dont get scarred to get my shoulder popped out

    look @ 5:12 til ____
he moves to north south pummels his arm and goes to twister side and transfers to the other side
you guys see how that made andre react and move his arm?

than hes gets the "under" and works for the "over"
and gets complete "over under control!!!

    its so awesome!

I guess I don't really use tricks. I give up an underhook from standup for flying kung fu move but I wouldn't call that a trick.

trickery is the only way to go!
and forcing them to make a choice that leads them to a dead end!
    lol

its like smiling at someone as you knife them in the throat!
    lol pure evil! >:-D

it is quite lovely when u trick someone into deep water isnt it?. one devious little setup i like is from side control, threaten the far-side americana. often your oponent will either reach across with his inside arm to clinch his hands, preventing the lock. by reaching across he sets up his INSIDE arm for a deep hook and from there is an easy armbar usually, or atleast to spiderweb. however sometimes the opponent will just bend his arm towards his head (acute angle), setting up the deep hook on the far side arm. sometimes i manage to spin overtop and secure the arm, but if not im sitll in spiderwed usually, and from there im really diggin the arm crush.

One of my favorites is to do the hip bump sweep and not block the arm. Your opponent will invariably post the arm to block the sweep and you can go right into the triangle. Ryan Hall used to do this all the time when he was a blue and purple belt.

    the godfather.

from bottom mount, i often prefer to recover half guard then bridge, or upa, because that lands me in my opponent's full guard. So I will just do little hip bumps without much control of my opponents' arms. They will be so pleased with themselves for not getting bucked all the way off, they will not prevent me from hooking their leg and recovering half guard. I'm a striped white belt, and land this on blues, purples, and even one brown. However, they just pass my half guard all over again lol.
