I've been watching his DVD series "mastering the saddle" and I'm impressed. he appears to me to be like sambo's version of eddie bravo, stressing the importance of clinching up and evolving the game. in fact he even mentions eddie bravo (in a complimentary way) and works entries from the lockdown.
