Respect to Marcelo and Einstein. It's a treat to see two guys at such a high level have a friendly sparring session.

I think he's hand down the best no-gi player, but Roger Gracie is the best BJJ player out there. For the past 7 years he's won his weight class and secured either Gold or Silver in the Absolute Division of the World Championships. Not to mention in 09 and 10 choking everyone from the mount back-to-back 13 times in a row.

Marcelo's my favorite of all time though. For sure. He killed it at the Worlds in 2010. Did you see those back-to-back North/South chokes? He's gonna moonwalk through ADCC this year too, especially now that Pablo will probably have to fight up a weight class due to the new rules.

Pablo usually does very well against guys bigger than him. He and Cyborg probably had the best year in 2010 as far as no-gi goes. Pablo is extremely technical and although he's a beast, he doesn't use it as a substitute for good BJJ. Case-in-point is the half guard pass he used to beat Marcelo Garcia. No strength was involved. Just perfect head-and-arm control with great leg-work.

You should check out his performance in the Absolute at the 2010 No-Gi Worlds.

The only complaint is that he can stall sometimes when he's real ahead on points, but he has a wicked RNC and his guard passing skills are ridiculous. He often passes the guard in a way that makes opponents expose their back. Very solid grappler and a great guy.
