Jiu Jitsu would always help me sleep....unless something happens during the day that REALLY pisses me off...but mostly I'd work out all the energy doing jiu jitsu to the point that come night time my mind would wander and think about what happened in class and there would be playback of what i should have done, what i did well, wrong etc. until i just go out. it's relaxing and calming therapy to the point where i'd fall asleep most likely because i think of NOTHING ELSE....there's no other trivial bullshit going on...just usually whether i felt i did well in class or not and what happened. The fact that i did jiu jitsu at the end of a hard day of other stuff such as school, studying, work, etc. is when i feel complete. it's when i don't do jits that my mind races because my body isn't thrashed and there is all the energy + being pissed off i didn't go or whatever else creeps in my head during the week that i stay up.... i sleep better doing jiu jitsu than just doing regular hard workouts at the gym like lifting weights or doing cardio on a treadmill or something. it might be a mental thing.
