as someone who's been around since 96 both practicing BJJ & watching the UFC before the term MMA was even coined, i appreciate those who were fighting & flying the jiujitsu flag, like BJ, Nick Diaz, Jermy Horn, & Frank Shamrock, for 4 g's a fight, no Glamour, no Groupies, no Cool T shirts, ect. so if your one of thease new '' MMA Dousche Bag fans '' you need to earn your right to a opinion, or your just like thease out shape sports reporters who couldn't make a dodgeball team. you, don't have to like vets like Diaz, but you must respect him

Look outside the box, they train everyday, for either MMA, BJJ, or triathlons, they don't get arrested, there not tatted up representing gangs verbally.

Personally, I like the kids but to answer your question it's most likely the fact that they use foul language, smoke buds, and have what are generally perceived as attitude problems...AND they're Mexican(I keed, I keed).
Fighting in the ER doesn't help either.

whether you like it or not, all 3rd generation mma fighters are benefiting from the 2nd generation of fighters who faught for little money, Nick Diaz is a part of that 2nd generation after the 90's, & just because he doesn't kiss the media's ass doesn't make him a thug. not everyone has to fit your " COOKIE CUTTER " description of how fighters should behave. just like Eddie doesn't behave the way the traditional martial arts community wants him to either. are you shure 10th planets for you ??

Good point about the foul language, Listin I have grown up around gyms and droping F bombs really not a big thing to me. Or any combo of trash mouth you can come up with. But when you use it every other word it loses its impact. I might swear 5 times a month, but when I do, you know its some important sh*t . LOL.

Which brings me to my next point....... Gabby is that a F#&king heart next to Nate Deiz name ???? I thought you had more taste, that's it I may have to officially turn in my crush on you. LOL.

Trash talking is fun until I hurt someone's feelings. Hurting people's feelings is mean. It makes me feel like the douche bags I hated in High School when I hurt someone's feelings.....but oh well....I suppose it could make them stronger getting their feelings hurt...just so long they know about the love.
