How Did jiu-jitsu change your life?

Jiu jitsu changed my philosophy on life, and opened my mind to new philosophies. It gave me confidence, yet humbled me and made me a modest person. I lost plenty of pounds and dedicated my life to health because of the ideas shared within the gym. And it plain out just helped me grow and devolope as a person, not to mention gave me a hobby.

What about you guys, How did jiujitsu change your lives?

Im just glad I'm experiencing this part of the multiverse and not the one where im takin one in the ass and one in the mouth right now. Which ,apparently, we all are.

Jiu Jitsu changed my life because it gave me a way to continue grappling out of high school. When I was younger wrestling in the Olympics was my goal and what I was striving for, but came to realize there's no way I could make a living doing so with a family. So then came BJJ and MMA. I love BJJ and there's not a day in my life I'll consider giving it up!

I got in shape, got out of a bad time/state of mind, learned how to choke the shit out of people, got a 6 pack, met hella cool people in all areas of business that could come in handy in the future. I actually feel like I'm living life and not just slowly dying.
