Jeremy "Gerbil" Arel is a Gordo Black Belt and founder of Gerbil Jiu Jitsu. Yes, Gerbil Jiu Jitsu. He is a awesome guy and it was great to have him part of our Saturday class. Fernando Salvador was teaching that day so it was very cool to have 2 black belts in house.

I thought I would also include that I had the opportunity to train with 9 black belts the following week at a charity seminar. Great experience and I was thankful to have gotten an invite.

He is Jim. Jeremy spent over 14 months in Brazil training to get his black belt. I'll try and find the link and post it up about his experiences. I can't seem to find it now.

Nice find! It's a great thread to read. One of the few on Sherdog. Jeremy is a awesome guy and great grappler. He'll be in Charlotte for a while so I hope to train with him as much as I can.
