I have an interesting couple of stories to tell. Essentially the same comments from my Uncle, who was a champion Judoka MANY years ago, and Kru Phil Nurse. They essentially said: "all I use is one or two basic techniques in my matches. If my opponent counters one, I use the second, then the third, until I can catch them with number one". My Uncle used to tell me that he had only one real "money" throw, and if that got countered, he'd just go back and forth between that and his back up until he got the Ippon. Kru Phil essentially told me the same. If he's serious about ending a fight and not being flashy, it's straight punches and low kicks. If he wants to crush you, it's knees from the clinch. Basically, keep doing your money until you get shut down, then go to plan B.
