NEWS: Shields bringing Sonnen into camp

Former Strikeforce middleweight champion, Jake Shields has today revealed that he’s bringing in former UFC middleweight title contender, Chael Sonnen and Bellator stand-out, Ben Askren to help him prepare for Georges St. Pierre at UFC 129 in April.

The UFC welterweight number one contender revealed the news to The Fight Show earlier today who in turn posted it via their Twitter page.

Jake is so terrible standing up...I mean...I really just don't see him being able to develop his stand up game enough to make a dent. GSP vs. Kosheck 2....accept Kosheck talked enough smack that you actually thought he had a prayer of winning. Then of course, gsp jabbed him to death.

go to vegas RIGHT NOW!!! You can retire if you win on those odds. To be frank...I don't have a dog in the fight...I would be geeked if GSP got upset by a former strikeforce fighter...not going to happen though. Just don't see it.
